The original soundtrack for the Mike
Hodges' film, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead by
SFT (aka Simon Fisher Turner) is available now as an exclusive
digital download album.
Recorded with Gilad Atzmon & The
Orient House Ensemble, with whom Simon has collaborated in
the past and Reba, a female singer Simon discovered while
trying out local gospel choirs in London, the soundtrack is
mostly improved and is described by SFT as "an accidental
improvised score, made with friends for friends".
The film, starring Clive Owen, Jonathan
Rhys-Meyers, Malcolm McDowell and Charlotte Rampling is directed
by Mike Hodges and in UK cinemas from 30th April. The film
sees Hodges and SFT working together again after Simon's contribution
to the soundtrack for the 1998 film, Croupier.
